Pintar Rapido Royal Albert Hall, painting by Andrei Voica
Originating from Spain and meaning “painting quickly”, Pintar Rapido is an exciting new art show that celebrates the urban spaces and places we live and work in. Hundreds of artists are coming together on Saturday July 13th to paint live on the streets of Kensington & Chelsea to capture the spirit of the borough in a painting. The following day all their work is exhibited at Chelsea Old Town Hall on the King’s Road. Andrei Voica was one of the artists that got involved in this mini-summer art festival. He came up with a conceptual painting that aimed at capturing the spirtit of the Royal Albert Hall. The one day event was a great success. It was atended by a large number of art enthusiasts who had the chance to view arworks produced in different mediums including acrylics, oils, pastels and watercolour.
